A circular route with a high level of difficulty due to the total distance and accumulated elevation gain. The route starts towards Santa Pau and, from Olot onwards, descends along the Olot–Girona greenway. At Bonmatí, you leave this greenway and continue towards Sant Gregori.

60% consists of quiet secondary roads and compacted paths. More than half of the route follows greenways. The main challenge is the total elevation gain and distance; there are no technical sections.

As a point of interest, the route passes on the outskirts of Girona (around km 102), where it’s easy to make a short detour to visit the city. It also passes through Olot (km 40), where you can visit the Volcano Museum.
